ABOUT US

 The Fire Suppression Insurance Center is a Division of Joyce Insurance Group.

Joyce Insurance Group had its beginning in 1955 when its founder Joseph J. Joyce, was first licensed. It is now in its 50th year of operation, growing exponentially every year.

The Agency has complete computerized operations at 9 North Main Street, Pittston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where the full spectrum of personal and commercial insurance functions are performed. Other branch offices are located at 408 North Main Street, Old Forge; 700 East Market Street, Scranton; 711 W. Broad Street, Hazleton; 809 Main Street, Honesdale; 658 Easton Road, Horsham; 824 Main Street, Nanticoke.

In 1979 Joseph J. Joyce's son, John, became involved in the business, opening the Old Forge location, and in 1989 he opened the Scranton Office along with Brian Bell and Leland Moran, now known as Joyce, Jackman & Bell Insurors. Joseph Joyce, Jr. joined the operation in 1989 and has had great success in target marketing of Municipalities and Contractors. William Joyce joined the operation in 1993 and Michael Joyce, who heads up the Life and Brokerage Department, came aboard in 1996.

The acquisition of additional agencies over the years contributed to continued growth along with branching out into specialty lines including Physicians, Lawyers and Accountants Professional Liability, Pension Plans, Structured Settlements, Municipalities and the latest Payroll Deduction Personal Lines.

The Agency takes pride in the fact that its principals and staff are well seasoned with many years of insurance experience.
